Lyla and Lauren

She is almost always happy!  Even with a runny nose.

One of the last days with her 'plug'.  Once she had her 3rd birthday, she gave it up on her own.

She loves Cap'n Crunch!

Playing with the toy kitchen set

When Lauren isn't happy, its almost always a result of Lyla picking on her.  Thankfully, she's starting to give it back to Lyla.  Best friends and worst enemies.

Having lunch

She's just cute!

I love the happiness, even with the drool ;)

Crazy girl.  She LOVES rice!  She is definitely my child.

More playing.  This ended with them fighting over who got to sit on top of the back of the chair.

Izzy misses all the fun when she's at school.

Freestone Park

After the photo's were taken, we took the girls over to ride on the rides.  They LOVED it.  Rob and I got tired after about 10 times on each ride, so we left. I didn't get any pictures of the girls on the carousel, I kind of feel bad about that but maybe next time...

Lauren was getting a kick out of this ride!

Lyla and Lauren's Photo Session

Back in March, we met my friend Lisa Marie at Freestone Park in Gilbert to have the girls pictures taken.  Izzy was supposed to come, I was planning on having is individual shots of each girl and a group shot.  Izzy had been off school the entire week before for spring break but decided to procrastinate and not get her chores done until Saturday morning.  She didn't get them done in time, so she didn't get to go.

Favorites of Lyla: (she should either be a model, or Lisa Marie is just an amazing photographer)

Christmas 2011

We didn't do much on Christmas day, which is just the way Rob likes it.  I was going to go to church with the girls, but I was too tired so we just stayed home and hung out.  The girls had a pretty good Christmas.  Their 'big' present was the trip we took to Disneyland in October.

Lyla's 3rd Birthday

I'm really behind on my blog updates.

Lyla turned 3 on March 5th.  Rob had to work on her actual birthday so we celebrated on March 3rd instead.  For her birthday, we all went to Chuck E Cheese.  I appreciate that place because they have it gated off so the kids can't run back outside and run away.  Since Lyla is the escape queen, I was happy that I didn't have to worry about that.  We all had lunch and Izzy, Lyla and Lauren had fun riding the rides and playing the games.  Rob had fun getting tickets for the girls too.

Later that day we opened presents and she had a cupcake instead of a birthday cake.  It's what she wanted.

This is her birthday outfit.  She's covering up the shirt that says 'Birthday Diva'

A wooden cake

So she struggled to blow out the candles, and did singe her eyelashes.  Thank you grocery store for making huge cupcakes!
