Lyla's Music Class

Lyla's last music class was on April 26th.  At the end of the class the kids did a little 10 minute performance. The theme was about America.  The kids sang 'The Grand old Flag', 'Yankee Doodle', 'My Country Tis of Thee' and then they used bells to do another song.  It was cute!  

Lauren was so excited about watching Lyla sing.  Lauren knew all the words too, so it was tough to keep her quiet so the kids could sing :)

Grandpa Cannon Comes for a Visit!!!

My Dad came to visit us.  All by himself.  Mark this date on your calendar folks.  My dad did something new, by himself!  Just Kidding Dad, but I'm only kidding a little bit ;)

My Dad had to have shoulder surgery back in January and is off work for 6 months while he recovers.  My Mom was sick of him being home, so in addition to her job in the lunchroom at an elementary school she also started teaching a class after school. LOL.  It took me 3 months to convince my dad to come see us, but he finally agreed.  He arrived on April 22nd and left early morning on April 26th.  

It was already pretty warm here, and he got heat stroke the first two days he was here.  We didn't venture out much after that.

Spring Pics of the Girls

On March 30th, we took all the girls to have their pics taken at the Scottsdale Civic Center.  It's the same place that I took Lyndsey about a month ago.  I didn't have many shots taken of Lyndsey since she just had hers done.  The photographer told me that she had over 300 shots when it was all said and done.  She posted 133 on her website which you can see here.  These are some of the ones I picked for one reason or another!

My baby is 10 months...

At 10 months, Lyndsey is weighing a whopping 21.4 pounds and is 29 inches long!  She's still not walking, but she walks around holding on to things.  Such a cutie!
