I just couldn't ever get Lyla to sit still or smile.  I really hope she grows out of this soon...  This is how the picture taking experience went

4 months old!

Rob and I both said the other day that we think that Lauren is finally getting her own look.  Today I decided to look back at Lyla at 4 months, just to see, but to my surprise they still look the same!

At Lauren's 4 month Dr appointment she weighed in at 16lbs 3ounces (90th percentile) and was 25 inches long (75th percentile).

The train park

Last Thursday I met Jessie, Caleb and Aunt Jeri at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale.  It was a fun day complete with a ride on the train, a carousel ride and Lyla being a complete terror.  I took the single stroller and was going to use it for Lauren, and then put Lyla's monkey backpack on (aka leash) but I forgot the backpack.  Thankfully, I had the baby carrier in the car. I am also very, very grateful that Aunt Jeri and Jessie were there, because once Lyla was out of the stroller, she had no desire to get back in.  I can't tell you how many calories we all burned today just chasing her and Caleb around!

Spring Pictures

Spring Pictures of the girls!  There aren't many shots of the girls together because Lyla was so busy that day and wouldn't cooperate.  At all.  Next time I do pictures I will take Rob with us to help me.

Our next door neighbors have a baby girl named Addison that is 6 weeks older than Lauren.  We get together for a play date every week.  They are going to be best friends!
