Izzy was so excited that Lyla fell asleep on her so she asked me to take a picture.

So tired!!!

I was trying to get the laundry done, and Lyla was being fussy. I ended up just putting her in the laundry basket with the clean clothes, and she fell asleep. This was after she cried for 20 minutes. Dang kids!!!

Another half month has passed...

I decided to try my own hand at photography for Lyla's 'Happy 2 month'. I ended up using these pictures to give to the grandma's for mother's day.

Six Weeks Old Now

Lyla has spent her week 6 milestone suffering from a runny nose and cough. Poor baby sleeps as propped up as I can possibly get her, but really just wants to be held all the time. I hope she recovers soon...

OMG... Lyla is one month already???

So Lyla was officially one month old yesterday. Time sure seems to have flown by...

She's already trying to sit up on her own...

Lyla and Janie in Lyla's swing. Becky came up to help me make this blog and brought a few of her kids. We had a good time (even though Lyla needed to be held the whole time) but I think that Izzy had more fun playing with Dakota.

Willow, Elwyn and Lyla. Elwyn was so excited to be able to hold Lyla. I went to my mom's house last Saturday for a few hours. Liz and her girls were up visiting too. My nieces pretty much love baby Lyla.

Lyla Rebecca Sollis was born March 5th. She weighed in at 5 lbs 10 oz and was 19 in long. We were in the delivery room for a whole 17 minutes before Lyla joined our family.

After her first doctor appointment - she is 5 days old. The visit appears to have been very traumatic for her ;)
