The twins at 3 months

Anyone want to take a guess at which one is Lyla and which one is Lauren???

And the answer is:  Yellow Dress is Lauren, Yellow Bow is Lyla!

I weighed Lauren on Wednesday, which is her actual 3 month old date and she weighed 15 lbs and was 24 1/2 inches long.  I had to weigh her twice because I didn't believe she had gained over 2 lbs in a month, but she had...  The girls are definitely starting to have their own look (at least I think they are) but they still both look like Rob.

Lyla's 2nd Birthday

As Rob's #1 and my #2, Rob feels like he needs to spoil Lyla as much as he possibly can.  That being said someone gets whatever they want, whenever they want it.  For Lyla's birthday here is what I wanted to get her:

For most people that would be enough of a birthday - but not for Lyla.  Rob also bought her this:

We took her to Peter Piper Pizza for dinner that night.  She had a blast!!!  It took Rob about 5 minutes to get her in her car seat when it was time to go because she did not want to leave :)

Izzy's Dad finally sent her birthday present only to have it arrive on Lyla's birthday.  They both got to open gifts!

Trip to Utah and Lauren's Blessing

I am lame (just like you Liz!) and may have forgotten to take very many pictures when we went to Utah last weekend.  We drove up on Friday, March 11th and drove back Monday, March 14th.  The girls were great in the car thanks to the portable DVD player!  Lauren on the other hand just had to have me holding her plug in her mouth and she was fine. So for about half the drive I was sitting sideways in the front seat holding her plug in her mouth while she was sitting right behind me.  I needed a massage after that!

On Saturday we drove up with Rob's parents and Megan to see Rob's Grandpa Moon.  Izzy had gone to spend the day with her other Grandparents and her Dad, so she missed all the fun.  We stopped at Red Lobster and had lunch.  Lyla was a TERROR.  It's moments like these that I'm glad that when Rob is around, he takes care of Lyla and I take care of Lauren.  I have no pictures of this entire day, but sometime when my sister-in-law Megan posts her pics of that day I'll steal them and post them here.

On Sunday morning Rob's dad blessed Lauren in their ward.  I had intended to take the camera to church but left it in my purse, which I left at Rob's parents house.  Thankfully Megan saved the day and took some pics for us.  My mother in law, Jan, also took pictures and I'll have to steal hers as well.  Here is an unhappy Lyla and unhappy Lauren after church.

After church we went over and had lunch with my whole family at my parents house.  These are the only pictures I took of that event.

After the visit with my family, we went over to Kim's house for dinner and FHE.  I got no pictures of that event either.  I am totally lame.  Sorry.

Monday morning we got up and packed up the Tahoe to head home.  On the way home we stopped to see Becky and meet her new baby Lilly.  I did get 2 pictures of that.
