Mickayla goes on a mission

Rob's niece Mickayla is going on a mission to Paraguay.  She leaves next week!  I feel like Mickayla and I bonded since she lived with us for 5 months last year.  Rob suggested that I try to go to her farewell, which was on August 18th, so we worked it out and I went to Texas for the first time EVER!  It was awesome!

I have heard Rob's mom tell me for years about a store in Texas called Sam Moon.  I asked them to take me there while I was visiting.  Best. Store. Ever. If I had more room to take stuff home, I probably would've spent more money there!

My birthday and Izzy goes to 8th grade

School started on my birthday this year.  That sucks.  My birthday wish is always a day off from the kids.  Who are we kidding, that's my wish for everything!!!

Summer Utah Trip - Day 10

On the last day of our trip, we went to a Sollis family reunion.  The girls had so much fun playing with their cousins and at the splash pad.  Rob and I were glad that we were getting ready to head home!

Summer Utah Trip - Day 9

On Wednesday, we hung out at Grandma Jan's in the morning.

I went to lunch with Izzy and her Grandma Joann at the Oasis Cafe.  Here is my Brie Grilled Cheese Sandwich on Gluten Free bread and my salad.  Delish.

We had a family party at my parents house with some of my cousins in the evening.  This is Nick's dog Sunny.  The girls liked her as long as she stayed in the kennel.  I also loved Nick's girlfriend Jami, who entertained my girls for me.
