Thanksgiving Trip to Utah - Day 8 That's It!!!

Saturday morning Rob and his Dad went to see a movie at the new movie theaters at the mall by where are families live.  I went shopping with Rob's mom, Megan and Lyndsey.  Izzy hung out with Lyla and Lauren at Rob's parents house.  We stopped at Rob's sister Kim's house on the way home from our shopping because his niece Emmy was having a paparazzi jewelry party there.  I may have picked up a few things for myself and a few for Izzy for Christmas.

When we were all back from our adventures we went over to my parents again for a birthday party for Lauren and my sister Liz.  We feasted on nachos - which was the best idea EVER for a family dinner and then opened presents and had cake (or apple crisp if you are gluten free) and ice cream.

My parents gave her a Dirt Devil vacuum.  All the kids immediately fought over it.  Lyla told my parents that she wanted the exact same gifts (the vacuum and water bottle) for her birthday, so my parents sent Lyla that for Christmas. 

After dinner, we left all the kids except Lyndsey at my parents house and met my friend Ruby and her husband for dinner at Brio.  I hadn't seen Ruby since we came up when Lauren was a baby.  I missed her.  She's pretty much my only friend that I keep in consistent touch with from my working days. 

After dinner, we picked up the kids and Rob decided that he couldn't take another night in Utah so we packed up the car and left around 1am.  We got home about 1pm on Sunday.
