Summer Utah Trip - Day 1 July 23rd, 2013

THE DRIVE

We had a rough day with the baby the day before we left.  She found her screaming voice and she screamed us down ALL DAY LONG! The original plan was to leave on the 23rd in the afternoon, but after the horrible day, Rob really wanted to try to avoid 10+ hours of a screaming child.  He thought that if we got up and left at 3am, the girls would go back to sleep.  HE WAS WRONG!!!

Lyla and Lauren went back to sleep, eventually, but it was 9am before Lyndsey fell back to sleep and then she only slept for about 20 minutes.

We powered through though and made it to St George before we stopped.  Of course we went to McDonalds.  I got the girls dressed and then we had breakfast.

After having their tummies filled, they passed out.  

Still though, Lyndsey slept a little over an hour.

Stinker!

We arrived at Rob's parents around 4:30pm Utah time.  We gave up on napping and just visited with his parents for a while.  Bed time came really early today though.  We all needed it!
